Now more than ever, it’s so important for us all to come together, support each other and do all we can in the global fight against Covid-19. Here are some of the ways we’ve been trying to share a little sunshine (with your help too!).
Here at Joules, we’ve made it our mission to give back to those who are looking after us day in and day out. These are the true heroes of our time and we’ve been working on a global level to provide support to those who need it most.
We have sourced and donated 50,000 civilian-grade masks to areas who urgently need it from local New York hospitals to our partnership with the University of Leicester Hospitals Trust in our own backyard. Alongside this, we’re supporting our partners in sourcing urgently needed hospital gowns because the health and safety of our community is our number one priority.
We are donating almost 10,000 of our own products, including pop-on welly clogs, hand cream and our signature fluffy socks to support our essential workers. We hope our clever use bright colours and hand painted prints can bring a little smile to their faces!
“Right now, hospice nurses and other frontline staff find themselves at the forefront of the battle with COVID 19- continuing to care for our vulnerable people whist also easing the burden on the NHS. One of our key priorities is ensuring hospices have adequate supplies of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we are hugely grateful to our amazing corporate partner Joules for supporting this vital area of work by donating thousands of masks to hospices in the UK. Thank you!”

These funds will contribute towards funding anything from well-being packs for staff to vital accommodation for front line workers. There’s still a chance for you to get involved, show your support or donate directly to this cause close to our hearts.

We are continually inspired by the beauty of nature and often look to the British countryside to provide a calming influence in difficult times. Here are just a few images that have kept us smiling through the storm.
While hanging rainbows of hope in our front yards, watching viral videos of wildlife invading urban spaces, and participating in daily 7pm New York City salutes to medical workers, we’ve been tickled and inspired by every little effort made to lift spirits and spread joy in our community.
Get comfy and make a little time to read articles from our Joules Journal. There are plenty of family fun activities to keep you smiling and blog posts to encourage inspiration and exploration of the natural world around us.
